The President of the Republic of Moldova is visiting Filipeni.

Yesterday, Mrs. Maia Sandu, the President of the Republic of Moldova, made a visit to the village of Filipeni, where she had a direct meeting with the citizens. During this visit, the President discussed the issues faced by the residents of this community, such as infrastructure development, access to public services, and educational needs.

Maia Sandu listened carefully to the opinions and suggestions of the citizens, reaffirming her commitment to support localities throughout the country in order to improve living conditions and strengthen the rural economy. Together with the local authorities, the importance of cooperation between the state and citizens was emphasized in finding solutions to the challenges faced by Moldova's villages.

At the same time, we discussed the fact that the European Union is the only path toward the development of the Republic of Moldova and toward the well-being of all its citizens. Together with the Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Oleg Canatui, the district president, Mr. Nicolae Popa, the government representative, Mr. Baba Dimitri, as well as with local and district councilors, we will do everything possible to bring Europe home — not only to Filipeni, but also to all the villages in Leova district.

This visit is part of a series of meetings that President Maia Sandu is holding with citizens across the country, with the goal of directly addressing the problems they face and laying the foundation for a better future for the Republic of Moldova.
